Meal Plan Basics
In order to meet your campus dining needs, we have designed the following meal plans for the 2012-2013 academic year. If you need to purchase a meal plan, or if you would like to make a change to the plan you have already selected, simply contact Alaine Scoles in the Dining Hall offices or email at scoles@csp.edu
Plan Options
Having trouble selecting a meal plan? Try considering your daily routine… Do you eat three meals a day? Will your class schedule, studying, extracurricular activities and social events interfere with dining? Will you miss dinner due to employment or evening classes? Anticipating the answers to these and similar questions will help you to select a meal plan that best fits your lifestyle.

First Year Student Plans
19/50 Plan
This plan offers students the opportunity to eat every meal served on a weekly basis. It also comes with 50 flex points per semester.
12/150 Plan
This plan offers students 12 meals to be used weekly at their discretion. It also comes with 150 flex points per semester
10/200 Plan
This plan offers students 10 meals to be used weekly at their discretion. It offers the most flex points of any plan that can be used in the Union Station, Commons Cafe, or that can be used to buy meals in the Dining Hall if you are out for the week or paying for a friend.
15/100 Plan
This plan offers students 15 meals to be used weekly at their discretion. It also comes with 100 flex points per semester
150/150 Block Plan
This plan offers students the flexibility to use 150 meals whenever they want, throughout the semester. You may use meals on this plan to pay for a friend. It also comes with 150 flex points per semester. |
Holst Hall and Commuter Plans
80/100 Plan
This plan offers 80 meals per semester to be used whenever a student wishes. Unused meals roll-over weekly. The plan comes with 100 points per semester. Meals may be converted the first 4 weeks of the semester at a rate of 1 meal to 4.00 Flex points. Conversions must be done in person in the dining hall offices.
60/200 Plan
This plan offers 60 meals per semester to be used whenever a student wishes. Unused meals roll-over weekly. The plan comes with 200 points per semester Meals may be converted the first 4 weeks of the semester at a rate of 1 meal to 4.00 Flex points. Conversions must be done in person in the dining hall offices.
Commuter Plan (40/175)
Perfect for the commuter student living off campus. This plan offers 40 meals per semester and 175 in flex per semester.

What are Flex points?
Flex points are usable just like cash – you can purchase snacks or meals at Union Station or Commons Cafe or buy a meal in the dining room for yourself or a friend.. Flex points cannot be converted to cash.
You can add additional Flex points to any meal plan at any time.
No meals or flex points will carry over into another semester.
Important Info
Meal Cards
Your student ID card is required for all meals on campus. If you lose or misplace your ID please see Card Services for a permanent replacement.Voluntary Flex Purchases
Anyone can open a Voluntary account or add Voluntary Flex points to their existing meal plan. You can purchase Flex points from the Food service office to open or add to your account. Voluntary Flex Accounts will carry over from semester to semester and from one academic year to the next.
Lost or stolen Meal Cards can be replaced. Should this happen to you please get a replacement at the Campus HELP Desk next to the bookstore. Contact them directly at x-8866.
Dining Policies
One of our main goals is to provide a pleasant, clean, comfortable and satisfying dining experience. In order to meet this goal, we ask for your assistance with the following procedures:
- Please bus your dishes, cups, and utensils from your table when you have finished dining.
- Please refrain from taking food, dishes or utensils from the dining area.
- Remember that Meal Cards are non-transferable. Meal cards cannot be used by anyone but the purchaser.
